Paper (preferably a non-lined sketchbook but printer paper in a folder works too)

About the Teacher:

I’m Aanika, I’m 17 and a senior at Palo Alto High School. I’ve been drawing and painting for over seven years. Over the years I’ve developed a passion for expression through the visual medium and I love helping others express themselves through art. As a student, I’ve valued exploring as many different artistic mediums and styles as possible as well as gaining technical ability with naturalism - being able to make things look realistic. While my personal art and art that I make for AP studio veers more towards surrealism, I have experience with realism and illustration as well as technical art like figure drawing and still life. In the past I’ve taught art to elementary students at a local art camp and I’m thrilled to be teaching art again!
